The State of the Church in America
According to a 2017 study by Barna Research* (on behalf of Pepperdine University), Pastors in America are aging. At the time of the study, a mere 22% of Pastors in America were under 45, with a decreasing amount of young people following a call to full-time ministry. Additionally, the number of individuals pursuing a Pastoral degree as a second life vocation is growing.
In a culture where Christianity and church attendance are declining, we believe it is imperative to support those called to stand on the front-line of the spiritual battle to lead and guide the church. So whether you are a 20-something or following a call to a second vocation in pastoral ministry, we are here to support you.

How We Do This
The Trinity Seminary Scholarship provides financial support to scholars seeking a Masters of Divinity (MDiv) at Association of Theological Schools (ATS) accredited Christian seminaries throughout the United States. Your purpose in obtaining an MDiv is key to being awarded a scholarship as we are seeking individuals with a confirmed calling to full-time “career” pastoral work.
Scholarship awardees receive $5,000 per year for up to three years or a maximum of $15,000. The award is sent directly to your school to cover expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, class fees, on-campus housing, food plans, and other unmet need.
Please note that students may receive only one scholarship at a time from the Foundation.
