Trinity Vocational Formation Fellowship

We are excited to launch the Trinity Vocational Formation Fellowship! The Fellowship expands on what we’ve done in the past (scholarships) by integrating what we heard from our community of scholars and TLC/LBIS constituents, anchoring us to our TLC/LBIS roots, and responding to key worries facing young people today:

Financial barriers to education
Unclear purpose and place in the world
Loneliness and desire for community
Eagerness to live harmoniously with creation

More than ever, young people need a place where they can hear the voice of God to discern and unpack their vocational calling, develop skills to participate in the ongoing care and stewardship of the world around them, and experience opportunities where they can build intentional community and gain the confidence to develop relationships wherever they go throughout their life.

In June, the Trinity Vocational Formation Fellowship will bring together 10 undergraduate students for our inaugural cohort. We begin our journey by gathering together in Washington State for a week of transformative learning with several faculty and in partnership with Circlewood on Camano Island, where we will explore calling, community, and creation. Our work continues throughout the year with several online sessions to engage with big questions and learn together.

Infused by the spirit of TLC/LBIS, Trinity is boldly living out its calling to center students in an environment where we will cultivate our calling in community with curiosity to partner with others in caring for and co-creating our world.
