On November 2nd, 250 people gathered at PLU to reconnect and celebrate 80 Years of LBIS/TLC. It was terrific seeing everyone as we made new memories and remembered our shared history of being formed in our faith and lives. This page is dedicated to sharing those new memories with you!

Supporting Trinity
LBIS/TLC was a place of spiritual formation for seven decades across four campuses (Gethsemane Lutheran Seattle, Greenwood Seattle, Issaquah, and Everett): a community where people encountered God, learned about the way of Jesus, and developed a connection with the Holy Spirit.
TEF continues that work as we support our scholars with dedicated coaches and mentoring, opportunities to learn more about what God is up to in the world, and programming to discern their vocational calling. Since 2016, TEF has equipped over 120 college students and seminarians with over $2 million in scholarships/grants and more than 1000 hours in coaching/mentoring. We are committed to providing financial support and guidance to foster educational success and inspire vocational discernment, affirming Gospel values for the sake of the world as we inspire and empower God’s people to live out Christ’s calling of service to others and stewardship of creation.
